Species - Otatea

OTATEA is a genus of American bamboo with two known species.

The long narrow leaves are produced in such abundance that they almost completely obscure the culm. Open clumps.

Similar to O.acuminata aztecorum but leaves are larger, up to a foot long and ¾" wide.
