Species - Cephalostachyum
CEPHALOSTACHYUM is a genus of small to medium sized, clumping tropical and subtropical bamboo. Thin walled culm internodes are long, often with fine ridges. The tips of the culms sprawl over tree branches.

Culms straight and erect. Branches small and numerous, emerging from higher nodes. Used as a flavor-enhancing vessel for cooking rice.
Plants introduced as this species may be a B.multiplex variety; they are not a Cephalostachyum.
