Erect, thin-walled bamboo with persistent white bloom. Similar in appearance to B.textilis.

Two different introductions by R.Haubrich and R.Neufeld. Both have been determined to be misidentified. They may not be the same species. Both are ornamental.

Malay variegated 15' 1" 25F

Long,  narrow, highly variegated leaves. Introduced as 'Taiwan variegated'. Also known as Bambusa Heterostachya Var.

Thyrsostachys aff.*siamensis 20' 1" 25F

Similar to T.siamensis but the leaves are slightly larger. Branches somewhat zigzag. New culm sheaths are purple and slightly less persistent than T.siamensis.
